Like the stellar CCR2004, the CCR2116-12G-4S+ is powered by an Amazon Annapurna Labs Alpine processor… but this time with 16 cores at 2 GHz. The result? A new single-core benchmark for the CCR family—~15% higher single-core performance—exactly what you need for per-connection workloads such as queues. And yes, it supports Layer 3 hardware offloading.

Connectivity built to keep up

• 4 × 10G SFP+ ports, each on a separate full-duplex line to a Marvell Aldrin switch chip
• 12 × Gigabit Ethernet via the Marvell switch
• 1 × dedicated Gigabit Ethernet port wired directly to the CPU for management

Each group of four Ethernet ports has its own full-duplex link to the switch chip—so you can expect switch-like throughput with no bottlenecks in typical topologies.
